Stormie is a Christian recording artist, songwriter, author, and public speaker. She travels extensively speaking and singing at churches, women’s conferences and retreats, concerts, camps and special events.

“I still wake up every morning and pinch myself to make sure this is not a dream, or a nightmare! I guess it all depends on how I look at it on a particular day,” laughs Stormie.

“One day I am on a plane on my way to speak and sing to 1,000 women at a conference or retreat, and two days later I am in “scrubs” standing beside my husband in a veterinary hospital surgery suite holding “doggy or kitty limbs.” Then I go home and make sure my fifteen year old is getting her homework done and try to figure out “what’s for dinner” when I haven’t had time to grocery shop for a week.”

As Stormie shares her songs and sprinkles life stories into her messages, you will laugh, and you will cry, but most of all you will relate to the tragedies and triumphs of an every day, ordinary, down to earth kind of gal just like you. She opens her life like a book and every page has a “message” that hits home. Years in ministry, running away from home, a failed marriage, a climb up the corporate ladder, the death of a child, a fight for independence, and falling into the welfare system , are just a few of the things that have textured the tapestry of Stormie’s existence.

“God had a plan for every one of us from the beginning.” says Stormie. “We are individually special and important to Him. We get “sidetracked”, make wrong choices, conform to the wrong things and then try to run and hide. He wants to get behind our “mask” and help us discover the “real” us He created in the beginning.”
