New Book

News

The newly revised book "Masquerade, Living Under False Pretenses" is finally done! I am excited to have been able to put this conference topic into a written form. This book deals with the question, "Are we who God created us to be, or are we hiding behind masks and pretending to be something we are not?" One of the major difficulties we have in relationships today is that we have a hard time being real with one another. Telling the truth is scary because we don't know what people will think of us if they really know us. God has called us to honesty and truthfulness. Anything we try to build on false pretenses will crumble. Our relationship with Him, our relationship with family and friends, and even our relationships with our Christian brothers and sisters is in jeapordy when we are anything but truthful. This book will take you through "self perception", "how others see you" and finally, "Who God says you are. It will show you the person behind the mask, how to take the mask off, and biblical principles that will enable you to keep the mask off. This is great for individual study and groups.

Gems of Glory

I have also revised another topic that I had called "Diamond's in the Rough". I have changed that title to "Gems of Glory, From Rough to Radiant", which is actually a better fitting title for this topic since it is more inclusive of many types of gems than just diamonds. This book uses the analogy of the gemcutter. It will take you through the process of finding the rough gems;cutting,grinding,and polishing them; and finally setting them to show how God works in our lives through events and circumstances whether good or tragic to form us into a beautiful gem that will eventually shine His glory. You will see that nothing is wasted with God, it becomes another facet in your life that will reflect His light. It doesn't matter what type of material you are, or where you come from and what you have been through. The Master Cutter will work with your imperfections and flaws to create a beautiful gem that will reflect His glory. You will also see the beauty of being different and unique in the way the Master forms you. This is a very encouraging and life giving study that can also be done alone or with a group
